A supplement for Jay Dragon’s Eventide Club, itself a hack of Apocalypse Keys by Rae Nedjadi. Et in Arcadia is an independent production by Che and is not affiliated with Jay Dragon or Possum Creek Games.

The children of big-city lawyers have transformative experiences alongside the scions of political dynasties, while work-study kids who have lived here their whole life grit their teeth and try to make friends. The rustling of branches brings strange thoughts to the surface, while deep in the woods blind prophets offer desperate gifts to resurrect the god they love. Above all, a college looms, dominating a county with fewer permanent residents every year.

Arcadia — a pastoral idyll. Arcadia — blood and ivy.

Et in Arcadia is a supplement for Eventide Club, a game of elite students and the dark forces that seek to control them. Et in Arcadia brings five new roles, five new sways, and and one new secret society to the game, all focused on small towns, folk horror, and the strangest monsters of them all — rural liberal arts colleges and the people who get to go there. You’ll need Eventide Club in order to play. Many thanks to Timberlake (for talking to me about Bennington and Marlboro), Grace (for talking to me about Grinnell), Jay (for writing Eventide Club) and Kenyon (for four weird years).
