Green Holler
A downloadable game
High over Gatlinburg, a mountain paradise is waiting (FOR WHO?). Green Holler, Tennessee is opening its wide gates (??) to you. There's plenty to do and plenty to see — from the heights of the Smoky Mountains to the Tennessee Spirit's distillery right up the road in Lynchville.
Come, breathe Appalachia (DON'T)
Green Holler is a solo, journalling RPG about finding your place and dwelling there in the shadow of tourism, regional exploitation, and the myth of rural america.
This is a hack of Evergreen Wilds, written for the International Parks Jam in March 2022. In order to play, you'll need 2d6 and a deck of playing cards.
Green Holler is dedicated to Helen Matthews Lewis and her tremendous gifts to the field of Appalachian Studies.
